Hello all,
I need help desperately. My 96 Taurus' (3.0 DOHC) lock cylinder went limp last night, and after removal and inspection of some of the column, it appears that the sliding rod that connects the lock cylinder to the ignition switch has disconnected/broken. Any info on how to get inside and fix? My Chilton manual doesn't cover this procedure. I assume the steering wheel must be removed. If anyone has some info, I would greatly appreciate it.
Love the forum!
Thanks
