Hi all,

New-ish member here. I first registered to find where to put seafoam in my car. Thanks for all the help with that!

Now I'm looking to install XM or Sirius into a 2007 SE Taurus. I've searched the forums on and off for 2 days now, but can't find exactly what I want. :(

Basically, I want to keep my car looking as factory as possible, and want to use the factory radio controls. I don't want an external display for the satellite radio. Is there an adapter that I can install (OEM or aftermarket) to add XM or Sirius to my car?

EDIT: Text information on the radio isn't important, as long as I have the station # displayed.

Thanks in advance.

No, there is not going to be anything that will display the satellite radio information to the stock radio nor can you control the satellite radio with the stock radio. The best you're going to be able to do (if you want to keep the stock system) is to have a portable satellite radio and an auxiliary-in port and pipe the audio to the stock system.

Or you can install an aftermarket radio in place of the stock system.

I appreciate the info!

I also assume that none of the 2007's came with satellite radio as an option?

Guess it's time to go looking for a discrete portable radio. Thanks again!
