Long story short....Bought a 1998 taurus wagon, it had transmission problems so took it back, got lucky, and got my money back. Went to a new dealer and now have a 2000 Taurus SE with 3.0 Vulcan engine. Car has 135,000 miles on it. The only thing we know about the car was that the head gasket was replaced by the mechanic that works at dealership. The car runs very great, with the exception that the heat gets warm but it doesn't blow hot air at all. The a/c doesn't work either, mechanic says it has a leak. I'm not as worried about a/c right now, as it is getting cold now, but I do need to get the heater to work right. So, if anybody would like to chime in and give some advice as to what to do or check, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Oh and also the water pump was replaced..
