I was changing the heater hose on my '99 Sable 3.0 OHV motor and snapped off the connector that goes into the thermostat housing area of the block. This fitting also has two temperature sensors screwed into it. The fitting appears to just press into the block. When I get the replacement fitting, do I use permatex on it and just tap it into place with a hammer?
