In looking at my headlamps, I noticed that the drivers side lamp has quite a bit of play to it, as in it moves alot up and down. :(

In some further investigation, I noticed that the black plastic that it mounts to (and has the position adjustments mounted to), is craked thru on one side.

What exactly is this called, and are there two of them (one for each side) or is it one long one?

I havent removed my grille or bumper yet to actually check, I was planning on fixing my bumper this weekend, but I was hoping to get the answer before then, so I can get the part ahead of time.. (kill two birds with one stone) B)

It's called a header panel. It extends the width of the front of the car, and both headlights are mounted to it. Prices range from $50 to $100, depending on where you look. Personally, I'd just hit up a boneyard for one; it's not like anyone's gonna see it. :)
