I have a 1999 Taurus without day time running lights and when the headlamp switch is turned off, the headlamps stay on. I must disconnect the battery to get them to turn off. They don't come on when I reconnect the battery, only when I turn the headlamp switch on.
Could a failed multi-function switch cause this? A bad relay? Or something else?
