Hey guys I got the new wheels on my Sable. Ima try and post a pic as soon as I can. I got the Futura UltraZs on my car. And WOW! They are some really good tires! Great in handling and great in over all stopping. I was really surprised! Anyway, I'll get some pics posted up soon. They look awesome!

You said in another thread that you work at a tire store.. Do you work at Pep Boys? Just wondering..

I had a lot of trouble with Pep Boys with my Aspire. I bought a set of rims and Futura 775 tires from them and it took them 7 trips to finally figure out that I needed a spacer to correct an offset issue
. They corrected it just before I traded the car in for my Mercury Villager. I won't go there again for tires. Hopefully you will have better luck.

As with any chain, there are good stores and bad stores. I just happen to have 5 stores within 10 miles, 4 are within 5 miles of me. I just go to the best one and have never had problems. Unfortunately though, the Ultra Z's are being discontinued and Pepboys will no longer offer a Z rated tire in the 225/55 16 series. I have been through 5 or so sets of these tires in the past 6 years and I love them. I average around 20,000-25,000 per set. With the tread wear warrenty the next set is prorated off of the mileage you put on the last set. I did send an email to corporate two weeks ago and have yet to hear from them.

Also, with those tires you want to keep them around 35 psi, give or take a few depending on your oversteer or understeer condition. I have my rears a few psi lower since I have a slight oversteer(must be that heavy sub box in the trunk) condition. I just get scared of oversteer in a FWD car since the onlything you can do is steer into it and risk side-swiping a patrol car as your passing him.

The whole thing costed me about $600 for the wheels and tires. I was fortunate enough to find a set of GEN 4 5 spoke wheels at such a cheap price ($240 for the set) and I got the Futura UltraZs for a good price ($55 Each). So I am truely happy. As for if I work at Pep Boys? Yes I do, so I get the discount on Tires and Services.
But I also do my homework before I get anything from my work. Cause a lot of the guys out there dont know too much about Aftermarket setups, and they should learn a thing or two about em. But anyway, Im going to take pics as soon as the sun wakes up around here. So gimme about 30 mins!

I love those tires on those rims! Looks awesome. You really have to look at the car twice to realize it's not a gen4.

Hey Sal, are those Silverstars you have? Harness?
G
Yes sir they are, as for replacing the existing harness?? No I haven't, they work perfectly fine with the stock one.
Wheels look nice, Tires look good.. but somehow.. theres something missing... I dont know what it is!
