well after 3 weeks at the tranny shop i got my car back. i no longer have the attitude of this world sucks so i guess thats a good thing. now i have to decde if i should put my heavy 18's on (27lb a wheel) or keep 16's cause im afraid the 18's may hurt the trans

I seriously doubt the heavier wheels will significantly put more strain on the tranny. Thats about theequivalent of carrying around a couple buddies in the back seat. Constant WOT, high temps, and lack of maintenance is what kills most taurus trannies, imo.

Leave the 16's on while you take the jetta to school, then slap the 18's on when you want to roll out in style.

jtkz i think im gonna thro the 18's on i really liked the look of them. i will probably get a better trans cooler tho
