So I decided that i'm getting a newer car.. and after hours of searching, i've narrowed it down to 3 potential cars.

This one is my favorite, it's a 2000 SEL 61k, fully loaded, leather seats, they're asking 8,750

This one i really want to, especially after having a sable. It's a 2001 LSP, fully loaded, 39k, warranty and they're asking 8,950 or best offer...

I really like the color on this one...It's a 2002 SES, fully loaded, no leather seats, 45k and they're asking 7,200

what do you guys think?? Are any of them good deals? Thanks for your time!!

Wha?!?:!? Everyone breathe in a few times. I don't see no personal attacks anywhere around heuh.

There are a lot of people that don't like my car. There are probably a lot of people on this forum that don't like my car. Well that's fine I don't care, because I know I like driving it around and I know other G3 Sable owners know because they have them.

Driving a Sable and wanting to soup it up is hard enough for most people to digest. I'm used to that by now. But nobody called anyone any names because of their cars, you can't expect everyone to like your car.

 Now back on topic.

7. They all have power seats, both drivers and passenagers

8. The only one that has side air bags is the sable

9. They all have traction control.

I think someone was lying to you....

Traction control and side airbags were one package (safety package), I am pretty sure you have both or neither.

As for the seat: Passenger seats were only power if they had leather.

Ask if not sure, I practically had all the options and such on the trim levels memorized by the time I finally bought mine

That is the same color of interior as mine. It doesn't show dirt very bad at all and it has been pretty easy to clean

You act all tough with your blinged out black Sable, and your hoodies, and all that ghetto talk. But I'm on to you, girl. You're frontin'. That's right, you're frontin' more than the shiny side of a sheet of tinfoil. Look at that car, it's like a sculpture made from a Godzilla sized popsicle. Come on you know better dear. You're only 4 years old, did Santa leave a set of false teeth in your stocking and you felt you needed the matching car?

Know what I think about that? SPINNING HEADS

Oh, I cry about it every night. I just sob into my pellow about how I can never show off my pimpin' ninja action skills in that mad tight ride. Or pull back the munruff and look at the stars. Or... sink back into the leather and think about old times or what I once...

I need a moment...

PS: I liked that smiley too. That is, until my orthodontist fixed my jaw.

That sucks that someone grabbed that Blue SES before you got to it... that was a kick a** color.

And I have to agree with mobiuslogic with the droopy assed condition of the GenIV... some definite (a**+age+gravity= droopiness) goin on there.

What's the story on that 2001 SES? Duratec or no? What other goodies does it have?

N2space You can get Gen IV Tauruses without side air bags and traction control combined. You must have ABS and traction control tho.

Hmm... weird, never seen any before though
May be an unusual one, special order. Everytime I see them they are done with the packages (safety package in this case, TC and SAB).

I drive a Taurus that has that combo. TC but no side airbag. I forget the option number but it is a Fleet order.

Go with the Blue SES. Cheaper, prettier, and every option except leather, which sucks anyway. What more could you ask for?! Plus then, I think you'd be the only owner of a blue g4!!
AHEM!! The only G4 Blue Taurus eh?

I have a different shade of blue though. I personally think this Patriot Blue is the best Taurus color. It is a dark blue, but when the light hits it, the color turns more of a deep purple. It is a very pretty color, and it beats that bright blue. I like darker colors on cars personally.

As well, I am partial to leather. I don't care if you "slide" in it, but there is something about the leather smell and the ease of cleaning that will make me NEVER get a cloth car again. I am actually very attracted to the Sable as well. If that dark blue is offered on the Sable, I think it's time to get one for sure. If not...time for a 2002 Taurus SEL so I can get the rear AC vents.
