i got bored the other day after i replaced my plugs while listening to President Bush speak at my old High School less that a mile away..... so i messed around a lil bit

Yeah, I got bored so i decided to clean up the engine comp a lil........ i think it looks good.... when you can see ur reflection in the valve covers.... then and only then is there enough clear coat on em... :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp001.jpg' alt='' width='756' height='506' class='attach' />
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp002.jpg' alt='' width='756' height='506' class='attach' />

Then...... i thought "God made leather and said... meh.. it's alright.... so then he made Armor All"

Damn i love that shine...
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp008.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />

Then i installed the blue cyber white bulbs (i bought a while ago and never got to) in my parking lamps
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp005.jpg' alt='' width='756' height='506' class='attach' />

N i finally put my sub in a box instead of that ugly bucket... now i just gotta tuck all the wiring away
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp006.jpg' alt='' width='756' height='506' class='attach' />

Last but not least was the torque strap and if ANYONE knows what i made it out of (exactly what it's former use was) then they get a box of cookies mailed to them! HINT: I race sailboats on the weekends...

[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp003.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp004.jpg' alt='' width='756' height='506' class='attach' />

And that finally left me with a question...

ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THIS SECURITY SYSTEM?
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/CleanedUp007.jpg' alt='' width='756' height='506' class='attach' />

Cause i have tried for the life of me to figure out how to arm it and use it and i have the sinking feeling i'm missing an extra remote.... stupid used car guys... "hey it's got an alarm (hee hee... even tho you can;t use it!)"

PS... the door you see in that pic is my replacement, pulled from another 98SE at a salvage yard close by.......
Price of door at yard $160 (all trim, elec. etc. parts incl.)
Finding door at yard (that just happens to be the same color as mine) DUH! Priceless

Take that POS Fram filter off your car THIS INSTANT YOUNG MAN!! Go and get you a nice Motorcraft (made by Puralotor) from Wal-mart!!! I'm serious BTW, Frams are SORRRYYYYY filters. I've done LOTS of reading on oil filters and the best choice by far is the Motorcraft filter. It's got the most media for the price and the proper silicone drainback valve in the front of the filter. The closest filter to it is the Puralator Pure One filter but they have the drainback at the bottom of the filter instead of the side where Ford wanted it. To put it in a nutshell the drainback in for when either the oil filter is too old, or the pressure is too great to get enough oil through the filter. Would you rather the oil go over the ENTIRE dirty filter to get to the drainback or exit just past the front of the filter.

Either Main Stay or Maybe a trapeze line. But very cool looking gen 3. Loving the way you put it together.

I test drove an 01 Wagon about a year ago that had ben "detailed" to the max with shiny crap. The inside smelled like pina colada so heavy that I couldn't breathe. The dash was so shiny/slimy that there was glare off it and a BAD reflection in the windshield. It looked like crap all shiny like that. I really like the shape of the dashboard in gen 4s but they look so much better in their original matte finish.

lookin good!! so is that a torque strap from a sailboat? i love them bulbs in your turnsignals!!
Thankee's..... i messed with em some more yesterday and put in some blue LED's

But.................Vacuum...............your.................car.................please!
Yer....... dude... it sucks having to haul around the lawnmower back there.... but hey, $$ is a good thing... (at least everything but the trunk is clean)

Looks like you used a mast stay
DING DING.... We have a winner! U really want cookies? in the mail?

I also have them on my front side marker lights with the clear lenses.
I bet that looks friggin tight!
How did you get teh emblem to float in the mesh like that?
I rustled around in our bolt/nut/bracket box till i found a few parts...... basically, it works like the lil metal hooks they hang things on at Wal-Mart... it just clips in the grill

is that anidized blue paint?
yup.... i put 1000 degree clearcoat on the stuff i wanted blue (intake, covers, etc.) then i put the two layer anodized blue on, and covered it with another clear coat

Take that POS Fram filter off your car THIS INSTANT YOUNG MAN
Don't worry... that's all in "The Plan".......... along with K&N air filter, cleaning out the fuel sys and all sorts of goodies (slowly as the money trickles in)

"detailed" to the max with shiny crap.
Oo... i know what you mean.. naw... i take it easy on that (can't have the wheel slipping outta my hand)... and i DON'T make my car smelly.... UGH.. pina coladas are for singing about and drinking (occaisionally)... NOT for smelling as you drive...

I'll post some pic's of the new lights as soon as i get em uploaded

AND THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE MAD PROPS>>>>> :D

***EDIT***
Oh... and i called the 800 number for the alarm and finally got someone.... says i should have a special remote for it unless "its an 'upgrade' alarm for my factory alarm package" I was like.. ummm.. okay.. whateva..... so i guess as long as the lil red light under the dash blinks when i lock the doors, i won't complain.

Oo.. took way less time to get my pics up.. here:

wallie world HD headlights and cyberwhite turn sig bulbs
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights001.jpg' alt='' width='1344' height='900' class='attach' />

Fog lights, LED's in turn sig housings, and the lil neon rope i put in my grill
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights002.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights003.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />

Close-up of the neon in the grill.... and yes.... it still needs to be glued down.... i'm waiting on REAL glue, that won't hurt the car.... they had "Neon Light Glue" listed as part of the kit that i bought, and inside is a tube clearly labeled "Super Glue... Made in Japan" Uh-huh........... I remember what that did to mom's plate when i tried to super glue it back together when i was 5..... no way that stuffs going on my car...
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights004.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />

Close up of the LED's
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights005.jpg' alt='' width='1344' height='900' class='attach' />

Everything on
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights006.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />

Left turn signal on
[img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v89/Ryanqzqz/Lights007.jpg' alt='' width='1008' height='675' class='attach' />

I think i'm finally happy with my front lights.. (dunno whether the neon will stay...)
So maybe i should fix that license plate light in the back :P before i get a ticket...

If you are refering to me...it's T-R-O (note only one "O")-P-E-R, Not TroOper. Thanks for taking note.

And now on with the task at hand....

After a brief search (about 10 mins.) I found no law in the Missouri Vehicle Equipment Regulations that prohibits "blue" lights being displayed in the front of a vehicle. Source: Missouri Vehicle Equipment Regulations So in summation, I'd say you're good to go.
