I bought a PC-based scanner. It gets so many sensor inputs, but all raw data. It doesn't give me deciphered diagnosis in plain English. What do you suggest I do with this thing? I gooled for a tutorial. No such thing. I gotta learn hands on. BTW, it is Autoenginuity Ford package. Thanks.

^+1 You need the correct scanner software as a user friendly interface. I'm pretty sure something is available for Autoenginuity. Did you buy it used? Their products all come with software when new. Remember, scan tools do not give you a plain, simple diagnosis of what part to change on your vehicle, only what system you need to attend to. A scanner is not an auto mechanic/technician in a box, it's only a tool.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I bought a new unit with software activation code and manual. I already used it once for EVAP repair. I was looking for suggestions for some useful tests, like fuel injector test (I am making it up).
