I've got Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread and all 4 have been replaced under warranty at least once in less than 25K miles. Original tires were made in USA but the replacements are all made in S. America (Peru or Chile..I forgert which). I wouldn't recommend anything with "Assurance" on it from Goodyear.
Conti Contacts are real good and surprisingly, Uniroyal Long Touring (at WalMart) have been very good in the wet and low noise. Handling is on par with the Conti's but they lasted longer 60K miles. All have been on my Gen 4 Vulcan.
I never bought one but: 2 used car bought with them on. See pic, typical with way too much out of balance, and that comes from out of round. Noisy, and balance issues. Buick Lucerne with them, noisy and half worn out so I replaced for winter with Mic. Defenders. The handling of the car much better. This heavy soft car had "tail wag" problems with GY, none with Mics.
Mics are QUIET and handle nice. GY the opposite.
I would rather have no name from the JY. Just my take.
I had Goodyear Assurance Triple Treads installed on my 99 SES.
They have been good tires & I have had zero issues with them.
Regular pressure checks & rotations are done.
Today was a good day to have them, lot's of snow fell, great traction!
So 20K miles so far, I am happy!
Hi I want to show pics of my 96 Taurus with strange interior that was modified by someone or a brand I don't know I want to ask that someone here saw something like that and know this? Those wood applications, hided rear mirrors in headliner, sporty rear headrests, hidden tables etc.. I bought...
I changed my flip-seat console in my '97 for a Gen 4 fleet-spec today that I got off of a 2001 SE. While the color matches, some spots are worn down so you can faintly see the yellow foam beneath. Does anyone have any good paint recommendations to fix this?
