Does anyone know if the Gen4 A-Pillar is the same as the Gen3?

I was planning on adding a real oil pressure guage and a real temperature guage, and was wondering if Gen3 Guage Pods were interchangable.

No, the Gen 4 pillar is much thicker (it protrudes further into your field of vision if you are looking out the windshield).

I did a search with no success. Are there any options for my 2003? Vendor/member made pod or any generic or one made for another car that would fit?

96 Mustang hardtop 2-gauge pod works. I fabbed one up for a member on here last year.

Did you mean the full piece like:

I have a history of altering things to make a good mod. What type of fab work did you mean? Would depend on which item above if you molded the smaller piece and sanded and painted or if the full piece needs a little work to fit nicer. TIA

The second, smaller one. You can heat it up with a blow dryer or put it in the oven to help soften it up to mould better to the Gen 4 pillar. The top portion fits great, but there is a small gap at the bottom.

I used aluminum rivets and then painted on mine.

Sorry to bring up a old topic. Any idea if a 3 pod mustang pillar will work? Or just the shorter 2 pod?

I've never done it with a 3-pod before, but I've heard of others using them with good results.
