While looking at possible replacements for my 97's front wheel bearings,
i seem to see some conflicting information on what years of parts will
swap. I see on some adds 96/2005 others 96/99, and 99/2005.
so what years will swap?

It seems that somewhere around 99, the anti-lock ring got moved from
the CV shaft to the Hub. So, i know that this part will be different.
But, is a 99-05 hub without anti-lock ring the same as a 96-99?
My 97 does not have anti-locks, so its seems the 96-05 hub without
the ring will work?

My '99 SE has ABS. The ring is on the CV shaft, not the hub.

Edit: I should point out that I seem to have a late '98 / early '99 model as I've come across a few items that were "crossover" parts. For example, my EGR valve is listed in the parts books as being for a '98 model. When I replaced it in the past, the part they pulled off the shelf for my '99 wasn't a match at all.
