I have a 2002 SES, and the muffler has developed a hole in the top of it. I have repaired this, but now am looking into replacing the exhaust system.

I have found replacement mufflers and resonators from NAPA and Auto Zone, but will I have to replace the third cat. also? This is attached by a muffler clamp and I am sure this is not going to separate from the cat.

Thanks for your input,

Mike

If you're just going for sound I would just buy a muffler and find someone who will do an axle back muffler swap. Shouldn't cost you more than $80 in labor. Probably around 40 if you find someone who is willing to work with you. Takes about 10-20 minutes to do.

Where are these clamps that you're talking about front or back (WTF?? phaken deja vu right now)
