Can't remember where the original thread is but the topic was newer Taurus Police vehicles. I finally saw a Gen 4 Taurus Police Car. It was an SE model. I don't have any other info as I was passing him on the freeway and only saw him for a few minutes. This was in Riverside, CA.

Anyone know if they received any special or heavy duty equipment pkgs for these Gen 4's?

I certainly haven't heard of a Gen 4 Police package, but that would be awsome. Doc, if you can manage to tackle one of those Riverside cops and ask about it, let us know.

The city that I live in, Dearborn Heights uses black Gen4's as their undercover and detective cars. They are so nice looking, some of them even have tinted windows and alloy rims on them instead of the hubcaps.

I've seen Indiana State Troopers in unmarked Gen4's on the highways around here - I've never spoken to them (thankfully) so I don't know if they're modified or not.

I started a thread about this a while back, I think it might have been on the old forum... anyways... I saw a Gen4 LX in Cleveland - but I couldn't tell if it had any special equipment or not... but it was a full blown police car with the light bar, paint job (black & white) and everything.
