As title says I'm looking for the stock dash CD player for a 2006 Ford Taurus.

Visit car-parts.com and look up prices at salvage yards near you, there's tons of wrecked Taurus around.

None close for a reasonable price.

car-part.com has one at LKQ for $65, Anderson auto salvage down in Troy has one for $45, and I'm sure they'll ship it to you, unless you want to drive there, and pick up some kolaches along the way (there's a good bakery in Ware). Aftermarket stereos and mounting kits cost 2-3x more than oem from a salvage yard, and having a aftermarket stereo is begging for a break in.

Maybe contact durasel on here. Hes a purveyor of audio equipment. Everything ive heard points to fair prices and good service.
