Has anyone in a Gen 2 taurus/Sable done the big 3 mod? I want to do this really bad but I was looking at the power cables and found myself confused. The two power wires off the battery go to the distribution block and the other goes straight to the cylinoid. I tried to find where the battery meets with the alternator but have yet to find it. If you've done the mod please fill me in. I'm kind of a newb at this sort of modding so forgive me lack of knowledge.

The battery cable to the altenator goes to the fuse box first, where there is a big ass fuse on the side of the box. I realize you're a gen 2, but its the same idea, check out my garage, i've got pics of how I did it.

Yeah I actually looked at your post before posting my question. Thank you for the quick response though. I have looked and looked and I can't find the fuse block where my alternator and battery meet. Like I said the two hot wires coming off the battery I can follow easily. One goes to the distribution block of fuses and the other goes down to the bottom/front of the motor to a cylinoid. Think I will order a Haynes manual and just get this party started.
