OK,

I've got a question here. I've helped Wes replace the front wheel bearing assembly in his car and it was a pretty streight forward deal. Now, a friend of mine has a '93 Honda Accord EX which is making a sound like the wheel bearing is dead. Some of the posts I've read indicate that people litterally replace the wheel bearings, I.E. take apart the whole assembly and replace, regrease and repack the bearings. Wes and I didn't have to do anything like this. It was as simple as three bolts on the back of the knuckle and the parts came right out. Would the Accord be any different? We certainly don't have access to the tools such as a hydrolic press to replace the individual bearings. Anyone have some insight into this?
