i need to know what size speakers are in a gen 2 front door? i am thinkin 61/2 right?.....thanks

They are actually 5 1/4" but 6 1/2" fit quite nicely.

No, I believe ther are 6 1/2, you are possibly mistaken

go rip one out of your car and measure it for me. when I replaced them orignally on my car I used 5 1/4s then later upgraded to 6 1/2s

Word of advice- If you've got doors like mine where everything seems to be one piece, don't pry off the speaker panels- you will break the clips. You have to pry off the whole interior door piece. It's not hard to put back. If it seems hard to pry off, thats normal. It should be hard to get off if its made well. Good luck with your speakers.

I was going to wait until this summer.....but bestbuy has some decent components on clearance

6.5 Rockford Fanatic P components for 90 or 100
and 5.25 fanatic P components for like 70

also had 3 way rockfard coaxials for 90

has anyone used these? any recommendations? is the price good?

for now, i'll run from my headunit, but will definately get a nice 4 channel amp to run them off of

btw, its a 94 wagon, so it uses 6.5 all around.....i have to double check the depth available in the rear though
