Front end shimmy when braking

If your pads are good, try burning off the pad deposits on the rotors before replacing them. Do 4 or 5, 60 to 5mph at threshold stops. Don't come to a complete stop. Then drive around to allow the rotors to cool.
The idea is to heat the rotors up to burn/scrub off the brake pad deposits that create the "warped rotor" feeling.
