So...the question is this: Recently purchased '93 GL wagon has some paint problems on the front end and nowhere else. Do I

a) Get a can of original paint color mixed up?
b) Have Maaco or some other "budget" shop respray just the affected parts?
c) Buy a bra?
d) Don't worry about it...the car is almost 20 years old for chrissakes?

I know it's kind of a personal decision, but your combined wisdom and/or advice will be appreciated. With a little TLC, this old Gen II is going to look pretty good. Interior is "like new", a new engine only has a few thousand miles on it, tranny seems fine. I've already done brakes, hoses, battery...it runs great and all accessories are working fine.

whatever you do, Do not take it to Maaco, I had a friend of mine who had his car painted at Maaco and 3 weeks later he was at the carwash washing his car and the paint started coming off

The paint they use is so thin, it doesnt last, its a waste of money

I'd do it yourself if I were you. A white car shouldn't be hard to find the paint for.

A car bra to some may look good, but it shouldn't be used to cover up a problem. Otherwise you may have rust start to form under it if you're not careful. They're meant to prevent a problem from starting.
