I found a 93 Ford Taurus for sale that has the police suspension package and was wondering if anyone knows if these vehicles would be a full police version car or not?It was formerly driven by a local fire dept chief, has 120K on it, 3.8L, and needs the forward clutch piston replaced in the tranny(wont engage gear after coming to a stop sometimes).

I'd have to imagine it would be the full police package. Nice find, those are cool cars. I'd like to have one. B)

if it has a small line opening on the grille under the circle opening, then its the police package.

Yes, the Po-pos had duals. They also have a 140 MPH "Certified Calibration" speedo and crank windows. The suspension was also stiffer IIRC.
