I've flushed the hoses up top and the water is now crystal clear...even bought a new overflow bottle. Wondering if I should pull the aforementioned hose below to thoroughly flush or is that not really necessary?

Fwiw, I just use the petcock, others pull the lower radiator hose. The hose is too fast and messy for my liking, lol. Either way, loosen/remove the degas cap to vent.

Thanks guys. I've removed the lower hose before and more concerning (to me) than the mess is the feeling like I'm going to tear or puncture it somehow. I'm not interested in replacing it.
