I just purchased and picked up over the weekend, a 2001 SEL with 33,000 miles on it. Car has every available option except the spoiler, which the dealer will be installing this week at no charge. The body is in immaculate shape with the exception of a minor scuff on the bumper, and a hairline scratch by the moonroof.

Dealership had orginally been asking $11,995 (plus TTL) for it, which I knew was to high. By the time all was said and done, including the spoiler, I walked out with it for $10k (plus TTL). I think I did relatively well considering that the car was Quality Checked, and that it was in such great shape.

Not really looking to do any Mods to it, but I would love to know if there is anything I can do to replace that really big antenna for the radio, and if there is anything out there that anyone recommends in particular.

Looking forward to many years of service from what seems to be a really great car.

Well, Congrats on your new purchase, personally I think you made an excellent choice in getting the SEL (I maybe biased on this point). 10K for a SEL with 33K on it is a good deal. Post pictures of your bull if you can, if not how about some details, such as interior options, colors, etc.

yes you can do like i did and get a stubby billet antenna that will fit any ford and it will look better than the factory huge one you get with the car. my antenna is made by empire motorsports and is 18" long it is their Phat Series Antenna. Hope that helps. if you would like i can get ti for you since i am good friends with the owner. Email me back if your interested.
