Finally! I got the tires and the wheels i want mounted on my car!!
amazing before and after pics! check out my ca rin the garage!! tell me what ya think i should do next!! I am seriously tempted to get a brand new front and rear bumped and take it to some fiberglass shop and tell em to make me one! lol!!
did new Sway bar endlinks today as well! starting to handle like a sports car too!
seriously though folks!! any input! for those that are curious... they are MB motoring 17x7" rims called rev's (VERY NICE IMHO) with Hercules G5000Z 215/45/ZR17's wraped on em =]
ah... now for springs and struts!!

actually... thats a stock spolier off of a 1992 Chevy cavalier Z24

it fit almost perfectly. the only problem was the inside of the truck... the bolts came through where the supports were... so i used a hole saw (designed for wood) and made 2" openings underneath to fit the bolts in through.. some anti rust around the edges =]

You should have gone with something a little higher profile. Those tires are less than 25" tall and you stock tires are probably around 26" tall. Now you're gonna need lowering springs to make it look good.

Wheels look nice though.

I had one other question for you as well! Your mods say you removed the intake silencer... is it the same in our gen Taurus as in the mods? Inside the fenderwell?

I would suggest Intrax and Tokico for springs and struts. Intrax will give you about a 2" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I chose Tokico over Koni because they are less of a hasle and are better priced.


Great price on Intrax This is where I bought mine.

Best deal you'll find on Tokico Although I got a better deal on mine.

BTW, car looks great.....a Stillen front bumper and an SHO rear bumper will give it the perfect look.

Yeah... im prolly gunna get a SHO rear bumper... but ill have to fill in the SHO lettering... (beings as its not)

The stillen front bumper is nice but im lookinf for something more open than that... wonder if i can router it out and fill it with steel smile =]

thanks for the info on the springs... i just blew a massive wad of my meager cash supply on slotted rotors and ceramic pads... all the way around.

(dont wanna take before pics.. but im prolly gunna the rotors are horrible =/)

also.. seeing as some people are looking here... what are the 2 Bars that go from behind the rear wheels and are bolted to the trailing suspension in the middle of the car?!?! my pass side is loose and ill be damned if there isnt some wiggle right where its mounted at the center!
