Is fraying and needing replacement for the 3rd time. So I'm considering having the nose of my Taurus (same area covered by the bra) sprayed with Rhino Liner or comparable material.

The only issues I see are:

1. It seems to have a rough texture and would like it to be smoother and smooth-able at the edges where it will meet sheet metal. Especially along the width of the hood.

2. The added weight as I don't want to go through a pothole or over a dip and have ALL the fasteners holding the bumper-clip simultaneously release/break/fail and then run over my own bumper clip.

Has anyone seen this done with either a Taurus or another vehicle that has the moulded bumper-clip?

What are your opinions? Feedback wanted!

Hmmm, clear bra...I need to turn the wife onto those....:thumb:

(PS wiping down the bra with an anti-UV protectant, ie, Armor-All, will make it last a lot longer and not fray so fast. Rhino-liner bra? No way, not me. )
