anyways, my vote was supposed to go to magnaflow. best muffler IMO. good sound, not too loud, and it flows lots of air

Silver Bullets if you want one that last.
I got a magnaflow ricer and I love it
I use a dual Ractive mufflers. They have a straight through design like magnaflows, but had the look that i needed. They arent as deep sounding as flowmasters, but are far from ricey and are never raspy.
Um, I don't really have mufflers, on the SHO at least. I think the cut-out Ryne has on his car also sounds good. Mufflers, we don't need no stinking mufflers

-Flowmaster 40 Series on Vulcan Sound Clip-
Holy s***, It sounds like a stang. Nice i didnt think a chip could make it sound that good. Thats deflinatly the next mod.

The chip's not in yet, but it shouldn't change the exhaust note.

well, minus the "stupid" part on that sign.... mufflers are for wimps

the advantage to a cut-out is that I can go back to stealth mode if I need to, like on long trips. I'd have to go with either borla or flowmaster though

ravens sound nice on the duratec motor and help keep the ricers at bay
chips change the sound of the exhaust?? I heard no change in my exhaust note.
Like a few people said. SS Borla
Good and mellow, not raspy

I like anything that's straight through. NO RESTRCTION. And the bigger the better. And I like it covered in chrome.

Eric's choice of Apexi N1 is what I have pictured as my kinda muffler. But with the name brand inscribed on the tip.

No, there's no reason a chip would change your exhaust note, except during shifts.

A chip will subtly change the tone of the exhaust due to the different A/F mixture. With a stock exhaust though you may not notice it.
what off set do i need..

Makes sense... I didn't think about that.
