I have a '97 vulcan. When it goes under the knife again this spring/summer, it's getting G4 exhaust manifolds and a shiny new y-pipe. I know that G4 and G3 y-pipes end in different spots, so I'll need to grab a G4 exhaust pipe. Would a G4 'tec exhaust bolt up to the same spot, or is it a continuation of the G3 design? Also, did G4 'tecs come with dual exhaust?

Why are you using G4 manifolds? The G3 y-pipe flows better.

I know that probe guys use G4 front manifolds as headers. I assumed that if they'd improve the front manifold, then the rear manifold would be better as well. With the different manifolds comes the different y-pipe.

The Gen4 does not look like it will flow better.

G3 manifolds it is. Saves me a little bit of cash.
