I have an 03' 6 cylinder Vulcan. The problem I'm having is while driving it feels like there's a minute hesitation throughout the drive. When putting the petal to the metal - it does get up and go. However, at least (3) times in the last 3) weeks the engine has quit. The 1st time was in our driveway and it re-started immediately. The 2nd time was at a drive thru. After the engine stopped, it wouldn't start after three turns of the key. Waited approx. 10 seconds and the engine kicked over. The 3rd time was driving up our daughters drive-way. This time the engine turned over immediately. Any ideas!!

Is the 'Check Engine' light on? Codes would help with diagnosis.

Off the top of my head has the car had any routine maintenance like new spark plugs and wires, coil pack(check), cleaned IAC and TB, new air filter, new fuel filter, oil change, etc??
