i found a website that have the rwd version of the essex v6 but they build it to 270hp but the only thing you keep is the block, everything else is forged and new. the site is Super Six Motorsports - V6 products that make your life faster and http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/pdf/SSM2009catrev1PowerPaks.pdf . my question is will this mustang essex stuff fit in my block. if so i plan on rebuilding my block and then putting the suppercharger off the suppercoupe thunderbird sc. they say with the sc i will get 350ish hp at the wheels. what do you guys think?

Everything should work but I would check on head compatability.

You should check out Tom Merona as well.

The TBird S/C is a lot of work and I have only seen one person do it and that is DMX.

The 4.2 is internally balanced, the 3.8 is externally balanced used engines for sale. I'm pretty sure that's true for all model years. The RWD block obviously has a different bell housing pattern, I'm not sure of other differences.

http://www.moranav6racing.com/pdf/mag4_1.pdf - Lots of info on how it changed over the years.
Was not sure whether its internally or externally balanced. By the way, the links are very informative. Thanks for sharing.
