I've had a problem for the longest time with my 89 Taurus Vulcan, where after driving for a bit then sitting at a longer light the engine will start choking up then die a second or two later, I honestly have no clue what causes this sort of thing (other than it may be some problem with IAC, or some part of the fuel system) and was wandering if you guys had any ideas how to approach or diagnose the problem. Thanks

:) I had a 1990 Taurus vulcan many years ago with the exact same symptoms. It turned out to be a failing distributor to coil ignition wire. Try changing it out.
