Yesterday i was stupid enough to degrease the engine.
I have done this many times but encountered a problem yesterday.
Well now the battery light comes on now and then, kinda flickers.
This is unpredictable as to when it will happen. BUT, the alternator seems to be charging the battery cause i used a volt meter to check the voltage at the battery when car running, and it cranks out about 13.8 volts.
The battery delivers 12.5 volts when car not running.
Could it be that the voltage is there but the amperage is not? i have no way of testing the ampere output of the alternator. Enough volts without enough amps? possible? Likely even?
