Hey Guys,

I recently got my bumper cover replaced and I decided not to put the original Mercury Sable emblems on. I wasn't a real fan of them anyway and want to do something unique. My only question is, how important is it to cover all the mounting holes? I have one emblem doing a good job covering two of them on one side, the other side has more but the emblems I am looking at may not cover all of them. I don't want to damage the foam on the inside so is it a big deal to leave a couple uncovered?

I'd still want to plug the holes with a LITTLE BIT of silicone or something at least to keep the water and snow/salt out in the winter... Bumper supports rust out sometimes...

Is the bumper already painted? If not, you could use a little body putty, sand it down and paint it...

Or get some sweet ricer GT-R emblems... :lol2: j/k

Do you have a pic of where you are at currently as far as these holes go?
