The door ajar switch in the lock mechanism is possibly sticking and acting like door is open. I have had my dome light stick on and drain the battery. I lubed the switch and got it to function and it fixed it. It's the gray switch with the connector. It is had to get to but shooting light oil in the door latch may get to it.
Could also be broken wires in the driver side door wiring harness.
I need to access the power lead to the LED brake light in the factory spoiler. Does anybody know where the wires are hidden? I don't want to rip stuff apart trying to find them. There should be something in the rear deck lid, but don't know where. Any ideas? Anybody done that?
Does anyone have the wiring diagram and connector pinouts for the 80's vintage keyless module? I have an E9DB-14B001-AB module and keypad that I would like to put in a ford truck. It has two 14 pin connectors. I did it once before 20 years ago but somehow can't find the pages I had from the ford...
