They replied very quickly but unfortunatly, it was bad news. They did suggest I try Koni, but they are so expensive. A set of front shock absorbers for a 1993 Taurus (this is front ONLY) $225.99 I think. God thats heavy. Anyone have any better suggestions? I want to improve the ride, handeling, etc. I also need to replace the strut mounts at the same time so money is a considoration.

I just received a set of Tokico's shocks for a 1991 SHO delivered for $505. A shipment of the shocks just arrived from Japan this week. I purchased them from www.shox.com

I currently have Koni's on my SHO and I very happy with them. What makes the Koni's a pita to install is that you need to take your struts apart, trim them then install the inserts. When I bought the shocks, SHO Shop sold them installed in the struts for an extra $100 for a set of 4 saving you the hassle.
