Doors lock when car is put in Drive but don't UNLOCK when put back in park

I think there's a way to program it, so it dosen't lock the doors at all, check the topic finder. I know GM's can be programed to unlock in park, or unlock when turned off. I always drive with the doors locked anyway, and I don't want them to unlock unless I push a button to do so. These days, it pays to be paranoid, people get car jacked everywhere, even in the wealthy suburbs. I don't even drive with the windows all the way down, so nobody can easily reach inside when stopped.
