I have a 99 Taurus that was smashed on the drivers side. The doors and front and rear fenders are smashed, but the A, B and C pillars are straight. The front and rear doors still close.

Looking at a Gen 3 Taurus, the doors look the same as the ones on a 99. Are they? Will they fit?

Thanks,
Ian

Replacing the fender and doors shouldn't be too hard. One thing is the rear quarter, it's the hardest part of the car to repair in your situation. It would take a lot of welding and cutting to fit a new quarter in. If you wanted to repair it, you'll need to know a bit about dent pulling and using fillers to make it true again.

As for the doors, just go out to the wreckers and find a car with a straight side and take all the body panels off.
