Hey guys, my driver's side door lock actuator slowly died over the last couple of months and I'd like to fix it. I looked through the e-z topic finder, and it talks about a tutorial, but I couldn't find it. I've just been using the key lately, especially since my key-fob broke (the little ring for attaching it to your key chain). I found a replacement case for that on ebay, so I decided I'd like to get that actuator fixed. For the time being though, from looking on rockauto, the actuators both doors on the driver's side are the same... so I can just swap them I'm assuming?

Thanks for any help/insight on the process you can give me. :)

I just attempted this, and got as far as having one of three rod's disconnected and the doorhandle detached. I quickly realized that I'd rather get a junkyard unit, and only do the process on the one door, instead of essentially doing it again to swap the rear to the front... too much work! I still can't figure out how to detach the other two rods, though. Oh well, I'll have to give it another shot on another day.
