For years my parents wanted to get rid of my sisters old bed/mattress. For the heck of it I rented a 2008 Dodge Ram so I can transport them somewhere. Question is where can you dispose mattresses? Salvation Army?

Another excuse with the rental is i'm going to Orlando in style. She has an updated 4.7L V8 with 310hp B)

A trip to the local land fill? See if you can donate it to a local agency...they might be more interested in that since you are delivering it.

Call some of the local mattress stores and ask if they know of a place to recycle.

we normally just put it outside a few days before garbage collection and magically it disappears lol

Throw the old oil from the last oil change on it and you can have a nice bonfire.

My town's recycling center has a place to get rid of them.

But if yours doesn't I'd go with the calling a Mattress store idea.

Enjoy the Ram! :D

If you want to see a good fire set an old couch on fire. I burnt two of them and sure would not want to fall asleep smoking on one....
