Cutting springs is abad idea from everything I've heard. Makes for a terrible ride and if i remember right can cause problems in the long run.
Ever see a car (normally an import) lowered that bounces around off the ground a lot? That's what you get when you cut springs.Originally posted by jorsh@Apr 17 2004, 10:42 AM

SHO's have the SARC struts, Vulcans and Duratecs do not. I don't think that you can do that to a non-SHO, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.Originally posted by mcgilles@Apr 19 2004, 08:49 PM
I have a front suspension drop of 1/2-1" or so, give or take, its hard to really estimate. no equipment needed at all, you can adjust the shocks, and drop them down as low as they will go. do that, then add the eibach lowering springs, you could probably see 2" easily. btw, where can you buy the eibach springs? I really want to drop the car lower.
