I am trying to check my crankshaft position sensor on my '94 SHO. In the Chilton manual, it says that it is at the lower right rear of the engine. I checked there and couldn't find anything that could be it, <sarcasm>unless it is inside the bellhousing</sarcasm>. Can anyone tell me where it is or what it looks like? A pic would be helpful too if you have one.

Put the book down and step away. Go to this link and put it in your favorites. Then click on "Care and feeding of the Taurus SHO". Then scroll down to "Engine" and click on where it says Timing Belt and etc. if you have a MTX or a ATX. They are different. It has pics and you can print it. ;)

Oh yea. There is really nothing to check as in visually to see if it's bad. You need to read the codes. And if it's bad you will get a code. ;)

I foregot again. You can't see it anyway. You got to tear the engine apart.

Thanks for the link. :thumb: The Chilton manual is great for my other car, but it sucks when it comes to my SHO.
