Someone had posted an article (Article No.01-11-6) from Ford about the Coolant problems and I'm a candidate 1998 Vulcan (had/have 4 out of 11 problems listed). Is this a recall ford will perform on my car since im almost 100% sure it was never done. If it is will it be for free or will I have to pay? I already have a coolant resevoir bottle that they can throw on their since mine is brown and gross. Or is this a TSB? I'd rather not run into any more problems on this car. Thanks Guys

Ford will not do the Recall Service for free anymore...it's going to have to come out of your pocket at this point.

I think Bob is in the process of figuring out how to install the ByPass Kit himself, so he may have some more useful feedback on how hard the procedure is. The hose re-routing stuff doesn't look that difficult, but if you need to replace the waterpump, then that's a little bit more work, obviously.
