I've had the car for a little over 2 years now with around 185,000 miles on it. I try to keep up with maintenance and have never had a problem before with the car. But this morning i was making my way to school on the highway when i got a coolant light, so i slow down and crank the heat, about another mile or so down the road it started to misfire. I finally make it to a safe enough spot to pull over and i let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then i turned the car back on and limped it to a gas station where i let it sit for another 30. There wasn't any puddle of coolant, the oil smelled like oil, when i opened the engine bay i couldn't smell any coolant.
I'm sitting in class now and im going to burp the coolant when i get out and check all the cold levels.
It is about -10 outside right now so i have no idea if that might shed some insight on the situation but any advice for what i should be looking out for or ways to keep the temp down would be wonderful thank you
