Were they an option on a 1992 taurus gl, because today i wanted to charge my cell phone and could not find it, i thought that it would be in the little compartment under the coin/ cup holder trays , but it was only another crap hidding hole.

Does anybody else NOT have the lighter ???

should be a pullout thing with ashtray, maybe the previous owner didn't like it and took it out, i suggest going to the scrap yard

Yeah, it's suppose to be in the slide-out tray under teh cup/coin holders.
