Car is a 2002 taurus,duratec.had a miss\bucking at 45 to 50 mph.Changed plug wires, now will start but only run for a second.Sure I have the wires in right place.pvc elow looks collapsed,could that cause it?:huh:Thanks rnb

Why did you change the wires? They can outlast the sparkplugs... Plugs must be changed at around 80k miles.
Do you have the check engine light on?

If the PCV tube is collapsed, definitely time for replacement. Common failure item. Causes car to run very rough at idle.

car has 117000 on it.changed the plugs to try to take the miss out[they were shot ]didn't help so thought the wires might.no cel.

As you can see from the picture, wires and plugs can go a very long time without changing. My '97 with 160,000 miles has the original plugs and wires and runs great.

Ok,Now I replaced the coil pack ,won't run.Put the plug wires back the same as they came off.any ideas?

Don't worry I don't fix anything till it's broke.The miss came back,coil pack had a half inch crack in it.
