Thats one of the very few Tauruses that I would trade mine for. It would IMMEDIATELY get an interior swap with black however. Also, is it just me or does the regular HVAC dash look nicer? Anyways, for that price it's a steal. Thats a $25k+ car brand new.
I have to say I agree. I went and looked at one at a dealership when they were still "new" and was asking about trading my 2001 in for it. My payments actually would have only gone up by a very tiny amount. I don't know how on earth that was.

The one I looked at had a sticker of a little over $30,000. That's almost as much as my SHO was NEW in 1997, which then the price was definitly raised by the dealer. So we asked why it was so much considering the SEL's usually top out around 25k and the Centennial package was only like $1,000 more and he said "Well, because this is the only one in the area and it IS a Centennial Edition."

Only Fords.

They did a Centennial Edition:

Mustang
Taurus
Focus
Explorer
F-250

It was all cars that have significantly "improved" the Ford line up. (Read: Each of these cars got our a** out of debt.)
