Those are soooo nice! I wish I would have known they existed when I bought my Gen 4 and I probably would have tried to get one. Oh well, I am very happy with the bull I got.

....

Wow, I never noticed the 100 etched into the rear emblem, any one else knew about that? I thought it only said centinnial edition. Damn, thats the first time I have seen the white gaugues which were available. Also, what is with the black plastic door handles?!? We want chrome man!! CHROME!!!!!!!! Other than that, the car looks good

I don't like chrome. I takes away the sport look when you add a crap load of bling to it.

I always liked the 1992 Crown Vic for this reason. No chrome front, just color keyed. My buddy says I am crazy

Thats one of the very few Tauruses that I would trade mine for. It would IMMEDIATELY get an interior swap with black however. Also, is it just me or does the regular HVAC dash look nicer? Anyways, for that price it's a steal. Thats a $25k+ car brand new.

After looking at the pictures I was wondering why did they go back to spark plug wires. My 2000 has coil packs on directly on top of the plug?

I have to say I agree. I went and looked at one at a dealership when they were still "new" and was asking about trading my 2001 in for it. My payments actually would have only gone up by a very tiny amount. I don't know how on earth that was.

The one I looked at had a sticker of a little over $30,000. That's almost as much as my SHO was NEW in 1997, which then the price was definitly raised by the dealer. So we asked why it was so much considering the SEL's usually top out around 25k and the Centennial package was only like $1,000 more and he said "Well, because this is the only one in the area and it IS a Centennial Edition."

Only Fords.

They did a Centennial Edition:

Mustang
Taurus
Focus
Explorer
F-250

It was all cars that have significantly "improved" the Ford line up. (Read: Each of these cars got our a** out of debt.)
