Recently sold a Ford OEM CD changer from a 2000 ZX2 to a member here. After shipping it, occurred to me that the orientation of it in the ZX2 is horizontal, whereas in the Taurus it's vertical. He sent me a picture of the slider, but it's different from my G4 changer (which is easier to adjust). The changer is identical to the G3 changer.

Any ideas how to move the slider...or does it even need to be moved? The picture is from the members older (broken) changer, shown in the correct vertical position for a Taurus.

I had one like that in my G3, but i'm pretty sure there was an "H" and "V" next to the detents to indicate which position the slider should be in. As for moving it, just use a small flat screwdriver or something similar.
