Is it possiable that if this thing were plugged or partially plugged would it give me a hard start when cold and searching idle when first started up. It also runs rich and no codes in system when it is surging idle it gives code 12 and 13 i replaced the Idle air control valve 2 times with no change in results i also hear a popping noise when i come to a stop and it soon dissappears if i put it in park or letr off the brake. All sensors are new except the knock sensor and the cat converter and muffler. new disribitor and cap rotor plugs etc etc

If my curb idle was not set properly what would this do? I had put a new Upper intake on it a while back cause a bolt broke off in it so i replaced it but i got this one off a 91 taurus and i updated the brackets to the newer style throttle and cruise set up but i did not mess with the throttle plate srcrew and if so how do i set the CURB IDLE?
